Not only with the speed of light...
It is the most common misconception about relativity that it works only with the speed of light. Next time you drop something remember that the "straight line" your falling object follows is only "Virtual Reality" -next to you, in your kitchen or wherever you might be, because of Relativity.
That "straight line" Sir Isaac Newton's apple followed had existed only in Sir Isaac's observant mind. Similarly, anything we drop anywhere on planet Earth will follow the "straight downward line" that exists only in our minds as a Four-dimensional image of reality projected into "our heads" by relativity -acting between our surrounding dimensions.
What is the benefit of the above realization?
Nothing less than the future of Physics and a new space propulsion system that will be based on Gravity and Electricity -the good old Unified Field that has eluded Professor Albert Einstein in his life. You may wonder at this moment: is it possible to find something that was impossible for Einstein himself? The answer is YES! but only if we would finally pay some attention to his words that he wrote down late in his life.
He called the difference between kinetic energy and field energy a "disturbing dualism" and -once again, he was right. The magnetic field of a moving electric charge represents inertia -but not the whole inertia. Why not then the whole of inertia? Einstein wrote: "Then only field energy would be left and the particle would be merely a domain containing an especially high density of field energy... and the disturbing dualism would have been removed"
Kinetic energy as Einstein knew was causing that disturbing dualism -but why? The answer to that question is beyond belief...
To find the true origins of "kinetic energy" -as we know it today, one must go back to Anno 1737 to Cirey, France and "visit" Voltaire and Emilie du Chatelet at the castle of the Marquis du Chatelet. The visitor would not find the Marquis at home because he moved into his hunting lodge while Voltaire -already a rich and famous playwright, renovates his castle and loves his wife, the pretty Emilie.
Sir Isaac died ten years before, in 1727, therefore he can not protest against the "science" of Voltaire and Emilie -and they are up to no good at all. They are creating a mischief in science for posterity.
The mischief targets the Quantity of Motion -especially in falling objects. Voltaire is "mentoring" Emilie who publishes her findings about a small, brass sphere -and her Quantity of Motion is not 'MV' like Sir Isaac found it to be. Emilie publishes that Quantity of Motion is 'MV-square!" Calculus is relatively new and too scientific for many, there are precious few who know how to use it correctly. Nobody knows yet what an exponent means next to a quantity of Physics. Thus the mischief survives its birth! Nobody notices for centuries what the couple just created...
By the time Albert Einstein worked at Princeton the Classical Formula -with two errors in its reduction! has become a "dogma" of science. Voltaire and Emilie had their "scientific period" few decades before America was born as nation thus there is almost nothing written about their "findings" in English -and in America.
Actually it did not matter how we calculated "kinetic energy" until this space age of ours. It is only now, when our machines are roaming the Solar System, that the formula has become very treacherous for the correct navigation of spacecrafts using their rocket engines for landing. Only now is the time when it matters how we calculate the Quantity of Motion correctly -and the only correct result is to be had with Sir Isaac's true formula that is 'MV' as it is stated in Principia!
Now all in the scientific community will have to bow their heads to both Voltaire and Einstein. To Voltaire because he created a scientific comedy that lasted centuries and to Einstein because he was right about the Unified Field in his Quest.
We are at a similar scientific moment like when it was first said that the Earth orbits the Sun and not vice versa. We are about to enter a new era of Physics with almost unlimited possibilities by the use of Gravity for propulsion in our exploration of the Universe.
Albert Einstein became very lonely late in his life. He became slowly isolated after Coppenhagen and his fruitless search for the Unified Field had helped little to change that situation. Yet he was right in his lonely fight against the uncertainty principle, against quantum mechanics and in his Quest for the unification of gravity and electricity.
Today General Relativity, Gravity and Quantum Mechanics are representing impossibility when it comes to the creation of a universally valid theory. Voltaire is partially to be blamed for his mischievous influence on our concept of kinetic energy. However, Relativity bears more of the responsibility in our failure to understand Gravity in general. Like the setting Sun's image, the falling objects with their virtual, straight line "downward" paths had confused our human senses for millenia.
With the removal of Voltaire's energy from our thinking and by understanding the Universal Relativity -that affects our life in every moment, we will take giant steps forward in the Final Frontier. Universal Relativity with the Unified Field will create magical things in our future!
